- A slow cooker recipe that needs to brown the meat first ; this means the prep time still takes too much time if you start it during a work-week evening (looks like we are still trying to figure this out).
- Favorite part of the recipe – the sauce, oh yes, the sauce… yummy. The kind of broth you want. Seriously, this one was good!
- Of course life happens, so we didn’t follow “exactly” the recipe on this one either – and yes, it still works at the end. Some things are easy to slip, others not so much (like baking soda and baking powder… if you put baking soda into a recipe that calls for baking powder, well, that’s not so good).
